Radical Nature at The Barbican Art Gallery

Radical Nature at the Barbican art Gallery was a collection of instillations by various artists whom had used nature and natural events and objects as inspiration for there work. I found a lot of the sketches and images very inspirational especially those of Wolf Hilbertz who had drawn incredible coral cities. Personally a lot of the exhibition isn’t that memorable and I feel it could have been a lot more hard hitting and innovative but many of the instillations I felt were plain. Unfortunately photos weren’t permitted in the exhibition but I managed to sneak a few photos otherwise I could have shown a few more interesting images such as Wolf Hilbertz coral cities. The second photo shows a serials of images by R and Sie(n) architects who had proposed a structure made from a natural material that allowed certain plants to grow and cover the surface which was very interesting so defiantly check them out.
