Westonbirt Project

Sorry to go on about Westonbirt Arboretum but I thought I would make it a running theme through my blog to mention any news to do with the arboretum. The new news for Westonbirt is it is getting a new £10 million development. The project will involve a Kew like tree canopy walkway designed by Glenn Howells Architects. The design involves a 30m tower which will have views just over the tallest trees at the arboretum. I think this is a fantastic idea and much needed as I haven’t been too favourable to the arboretum in previous entries.
