The create centre in Bristol is surprisingly a large place. I have been before but never looked around the whole site. The create centre displays work by artists which is made so it can aid peoples understanding of recycle and its importance. It also has lots of facts and exhibits that are all purely factual and are aimed at the importance of recycling and show what processes chemicals and materials go into simple objects. I found the bin hanging from the ceiling very interesting as it was dissected into different portions, each portion represented the amount of a certain waste which goes into a bin destined for a landfill site so you can see 8% is metals, 10% is glass, 11% is plastic, 20% is compatibles, 33% is paper, 18% is other. The create is situated along a cycle path so it’s easy to go down a grab a coffee in there café.
